SEVA clinic was started by Dr. Periyanan Vaduganathan, or Dr. Nathan, a cardiologist at Memorial Hermann Hospital Southeast, with other doctors and nurses, plus non-medical volunteers. They have agreed to work at the clinic to help provide care for patients in Pearland and beyond. The clinic is located in the Pearland Neighborhood Center.
This general medical clinic was created to serve the uninsured population of Pearland, South Belt and surrounding areas. The clinic is run by all volunteer staff that include physicians of many specialties, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, medical assistants, college (pre-med and medical) along with high school students as part of Health Occupation programs.
We do not have radiology capabilities but are able to offer basic lab tests at a reduced rate. We hope to expand our services to vision and dental care over the next few years, and with expansion comes more need for personnel and money to run the clinic.
